The Arabian Travel Market 2026 opened in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, on Monday, with a Chinese delegation in attendance at the Middle East's largest international travel trade show for the third consecutive year.

The "Nihao! China" pavilion, supported by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism and curated by the China Cultural Center in the UAE, feature a delegation of 28 culture and tourism enterprises across eight provincial areas — Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Henan, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Hunan and Guangdong, marking the largest Chinese delegation at the event in recent years.

The China pavilion focuses on business matchmaking between Chinese and overseas travel companies, while promoting China's cultural and tourism resources, inbound travel products, and entry and exit facilitation policies. Chinese exhibitors held face-to-face talks with industry representatives from the Middle East and beyond, showcasing the country's evolving tourism landscape and exploring opportunities for further cooperation in inbound tourism.

The four-day event runs through Sept 17.
