Shanghai Grand Theatre unveiled its 2026/27 season under the theme “Here & Now” earlier this week, gathering world classics and cutting-edge creations across multiple art forms.
The season features several Asian and China premieres, while one of the most anticipated productions is the original London production of The Phantom of the Opera. It will return to Shanghai Grand Theatre as the exclusive stop on the Chinese mainland for its 40th Anniversary Farewell Season, running from Sept 29 to Dec 27.
