An immersive theater employing extended reality, artificial intelligence and digital human technologies offers visitors a new way to explore Great Wall history, while nighttime programs and more than 1,000 cultural and creative products have expanded tourism offerings beyond traditional sightseeing.
The improvements have also helped attract more overseas travelers. According to the operator, the scenic area received more than 500,000 inbound visitors in 2025, up 33.29 percent year-on-year and the highest level in a decade.
