This year, the attraction has entered what the operator describes as a new phase of high-quality development, supported by a digital command center that monitors visitor flows, weather conditions and equipment around the clock. According to scenic area managers, the system has helped maintain orderly operations even when daily visitor numbers reached 100,000 during major holidays.
The scenic area has also introduced standardized service procedures covering parking, shuttle transport, ticketing, sanitation and cable car operations. More than 60 shuttle buses connect parking lots with entrance gates, while employees provide real-time guidance throughout the site.
Visitor comfort has also been enhanced with shaded rest areas, free rain ponchos during wet weather, hot ginger tea in winter and barrier-free facilities. Lightweight wearable exoskeleton devices are available to assist elderly visitors and others with limited mobility in climbing the Great Wall.
