Exhibition offers visitors fresh perspectives on the world

A new exhibition at Hyundai Motorstudio Beijing immerses visitors in a world of myth, illusion and transformation, exploring connections across different knowledge systems.

Titled Prayers to Fornax: Science, Technology, and Spirituality, the exhibition runs until Dec 13 and brings together eight artists and artist collectives from around the world. Drawing on a wide range of cultures and traditions, the featured works explore realms of meaning that remain beyond the reach of science, recover forms of knowledge and memory unique to particular communities, and examine how folklore and mysticism can offer alternative ways of perceiving the world.

Jointly curated by Wei Yifeng and Xu Xiaodan, winners of the Hyundai Blue Prize+ 2025, the exhibition invites visitors to broaden their understanding of the world through multiple perspectives. A series of workshops, artist talks and lectures will be held throughout the exhibition.
