Zhu Xiaoyan, cultural counsellor of the Chinese embassy in Colombia, attended the event together with more than 300 teachers, students and their parents.

Zhu first thanked the school's faculty and students for organizing the Chinese New Year celebrations, which also added color to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Colombia. She then congratulated the school on its achievement in Chinese language teaching and Chinese culture promotion.
