Dance Drama The Railway to Tibet

People had to trek a long way to enter Tibet before the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway in the 1980s. The railway was the first connecting the Tibet autonomous region to other places in China.

The dance drama The Railway to Tibet was set in the railway construction period and tells the story of the railway workers and Tibetan people in the late 1970s. It reflects the complicated human relations of life and death, love and power.
