Three Chinese celebrities, including the principal dancer with the San Francisco Ballet Tan Yuanyuan, have been named as the new Barbie "Sheroes" in Shanghai.

The other two Sheroes are Hui Ruoqi, the captain of China's national women's volleyball team, and actress Guan Xiaotong, also known as the "Nation's Daughter" in China.

Mattel's Barbie Sheroes program celebrates female heroes who are shaping the world by breaking down barriers. Across the globe, a total of 14 outstanding women were honored in the campaign this year.
