Where art and technology meet

How do art and technology — as creative forces in the advancement of human civilization —help people explore the world around them and expand their knowledge? That topic was the center of discussions by people from around the world at the recent Global Dialogue on Art and Technology in Beijing.

The event, a collaborative effort by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Economic Information Service, brought people with cultural and creative backgrounds from both home and abroad to share their insights into themes including the cultivation of quality productive forces, the use of artificial intelligence in artistic creativity, and mutual learning among civilizations through art-technology integration. The Beijing Initiative for Global Dialogue on Art and Technology was also launched at the forum, aiming to further strengthen cooperation and advance the global integration of technology and art.

A parallel exhibition at the conference, Archive of Possible Worlds, opened to help inaugurate the Bird's Nest Tech-Art Center and will run until April 2027, exhibiting art at the forefront of technological aesthetics.
