Street dance program gets young people grooving

As a key legacy site of the Beijing Winter Olympics, Shougang Park is a symbol of the city's industrial renewal, combining historical steelworks with sports, culture, tourism, and technology. Hosting the national street dance finals further showcased the venue's transformation into a dynamic public cultural space, while bringing visitors from across the country to experience its Olympic heritage and urban revitalization.

Organizers also announced that four special television programs, co-produced with China Media Group, are scheduled to air this summer, featuring outstanding dancers and works selected through the program.

The 2027 edition of "Huaxia Street Dance · Youth of a Great Nation" was officially launched during the event, with plans to expand its nationwide network and strengthen pathways for youth training, artistic exchange, media exposure, and international engagement.
