As the nation experiences sweltering heat during the sanfu period, the hottest part of summer based on the Chinese calendar, animals are chilling at the Harbin Northern Forest Zoo in Heilongjiang province.
Breeders at the zoo have prepared diets and other methods to beat the heat based on their different living and feeding habits.
Heat relief for the animals includes health examinations, cooling equipment, bathing pools, and fresh fruit.
