Chow Tai Fook, the Hong Kong jewelry company, is running a natural diamond exhibition entitled Beyond Time, at the Phoenix Center, Beijing, through to Dec 14.
The most eye-catching piece is a necklace with pendants in a butterfly shape made with more than 10,000 diamond pieces.
The largest piece is 104 carat. The necklace is designed and created by renowned jewelry artist Wallace Chan and took 47,000 man hours to complete. The exhibition also displays a 5.03 carat green diamond and a 20.08 carat blue diamond from South Africa.
There is also a 3D multi-media space where visitors can see how diamonds are mined and expertly shaped to shine through time.
