Universal Music Publishing China, a division of Universal Music Publishing Group, has inked an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with Cheerful Music, a prominent creator of chart-topping hits in China. Known for hits like Yi Xiao Jiang Hu, which amassed over 50 billion views on Douyin, Cheerful Music's success underscores its prowess in crafting infectious tunes that resonate with audiences globally.

The impact of Yi Xiao Jiang Hu extends far beyond China, inspiring 15 million user-generated clips on Douyin and sparking a worldwide fascination with Chinese pop culture. The song's reach transcends borders, making waves on social media, at movie premieres, and even in international dance competitions across multiple nations. Notably, the track dominated the YouTube Short Video charts in South Korea, showcasing Cheerful Music's effective international strategy and the broad cross-cultural appeal of its musical repertoire.

Jiang Xue'er, founder and CEO of Cheerful Music, established the company in 2019 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, with a mission to create music that resonates globally. The launch of their London office in 2023 marks a significant milestone, enabling direct collaborations with international artists and songwriters while connecting with a diverse worldwide audience.
