A clear window of opportunity

For anyone who dreads washing windows, a robot that does the job for them could be a welcome addition to the home.

At the 140th China Import and Export Fair, widely known as the Canton Fair held recently in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, window cleaning robots from several Chinese manufacturers attracted crowds of overseas buyers eager to explore the products and discuss potential deals. Among the exhibitors was Shanxi Jiashida Robot Technology, a high-tech enterprise specializing in intelligent window cleaning robots.

According to AVC, a Chinese home appliance market consultancy, China's window cleaning robot market grew from 480 million yuan ($71.97 million) in 2020 to 1.7 billion yuan in 2025.
