2026 Jingdezhen Forum bridges heritage and civilizations

The 2026 Jingdezhen Forum was held in Jingdezhen, East China's Jiangxi province, on Monday. Themed "Dialogue between World Heritage and Civilizations", the forum brought together more than 300 diplomats, city representatives, experts, scholars, and intangible cultural heritage inheritors from 25 countries for exchanges across cultures and continents.

The forum featured four parallel sessions where Chinese and international guests discussed heritage preservation, inheritance and innovation, and envisioned a future in which civilizations each shine in their own way and enrich one another.

As part of the event, international guests joined the "Discover China - Jingdezhen" program, visiting places including the China Ceramics Museum, the Taoyangli historical and cultural district, and the Hutian Ancient Kiln Site to experience the city's rich cultural heritage up close.
