Linda Chen, president and executive director of Wynn Macau Ltd, noted that since its launch in 2024, the awards have followed the principle of "International Standards, Chinese Ingenuity", aligning China's diverse wine-producing regions with global evaluation systems while promoting Chinese gastronomy and beverages on the international stage.

This year's competition drew more than 800 entries from around 180 wineries across China. A panel of 23 international experts — including 11 Masters of Wine and two Master Sommeliers — conducted rigorous blind tastings using the internationally recognized 100-point scoring system.

Wines were awarded bronze, silver or gold medals based on their scores, with gold medal winners advancing to compete for the 36 trophies across multiple categories, including varietal and regional titles, as well as "Wynn Sommelier's Choice" and "Best Young Winemaker".
