Wynn wine awards spotlight China's diverse terroirs

The 2026 Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards ceremony took place at Wynn Palace in Macao on Friday, bringing together more than 200 wine experts, industry representatives and media to celebrate the best of China's wine sector. A total of 36 trophies were presented, with Amethyard Petit Manseng Sweet White Wine 2024 taking the top honor as "Best Wine of China".

Supported by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau, the annual awards have become a key platform for showcasing the quality and diversity of Chinese wines while fostering industry exchange and global collaboration.

Speaking at the ceremony, Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, said the event highlights Macao's role as a meeting point for the global wine community, reinforcing its reputation as a "Creative City of Gastronomy".
