Chinese Culturepedia launches global influencer program

As the Chinese New Year approaches, Chinese Culturepedia, an English-language Chinese culture knowledge platform under China Daily, has officially launched its WeChat mini program and unveiled its global Culturepedia Influencer Program.

Spring Festival is a major traditional celebration in Chinese culture. The initiative invites users around the world to take part in interactive cultural quizzes, celebrate Spring Festival, and help share Chinese culture with a wider international audience.

The campaign will run from Feb 10, 2026 to Feb 24, 2026, featuring a series of quiz challenges focusing on Spring Festival customs, traditional food and cultural practices, and extending to broader themes such as the Great Wall, giant pandas and the Silk Road. Through light and engaging interactions, participants are encouraged to explore the richness and diversity of Chinese culture.

By completing quiz tasks and participating in interactive activities, users can earn Energy Points, which may be redeemed for 1,288 China Daily–curated cultural and creative gifts. Rewards include original illustrated postcards, knitted tote bags, copies of the China Daily newspaper, book lamps, and fridge magnets, among others.

Energy Points can be accumulated through daily visits, content sharing with WeChat friends or groups, and inviting friends to participate. In addition, a dedicated Friend Boost feature encourages users to jointly participate in quizzes, fostering shared participation.
