The "Classical and Glory-Ancient Greek and Roman Sculpture Art Exhibition" kicked off its first stop in China at the Shanxi Museum in Taiyuan, Jan 1, 2025. [Photo by Zhu Xingxin/chinadaily.com.cn]

As the largest public cultural institution in Shanxi province for the collection, preservation, protection, research, and exhibition of cultural relics, the Shanxi Museum owns more than 500,000 items. The "Classical and Glory - Ancient Greek and Roman Sculpture Art Exhibition" was co-hosted by the Shanxi Museum and the National Museums Liverpool in the UK, running from Jan1 to May.
