Cycle of lives

Beauty of the Times presents a panoramic view of Yunnan province and its development over the past seven decades in an exhibition of 88 artworks from the collection of the Yunnan Art Museum.

The exhibition transcends time and space to trace the province's history and the lives of its people during different periods. It is also an illuminating documentary of Yunnan's progress in balancing economic development and environmental protection. The province is one of the most ecologically diverse regions in the country, with varied scenery and a multitude of different environments, and is a popular destination for artists in search of inspiration. Many of the prizewinning pieces on display have already been shown elsewhere.

The exhibition runs until Dec 10.
