Differentiation drives Longnan's rural vitalization

Comprising one main forum and three subforums, the event focused on topics such as building beautiful villages, developing rural industries and exploring cultural tourism resources.

During the main forum, participants reached consensus for the development of high-quality agriculture, livable and business-friendly rural areas and the prosperity of farmers.

In October 2019, Gansu established the Belt and Road Beautiful Countryside Alliance and held the first beautiful countryside forum, opening up a new chapter in the integrated development of the BRI and the construction of beautiful villages, and enriching the connotations of the exchanges and cooperation among countries and regions involved in the initiative. In December 2020, the Gansu provincial government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs co-hosted the 2020 Belt and Road Beautiful Countryside Forum in Kangxian, promoting rural vitalization and facilitating cooperation and exchanges.
