Variety show presents inspiring stories of the youth

On the morning of April 28, the launch ceremony of an online variety show Dang Ran Qing Chun was held at the Communication University of China in Beijing.

The show, produced by Tencent Video under the guidance of the Department of Network Audio-visual Program Management of the National Radio and Television Administration and the Radio and Television Administration of Guangdong province, presents the inspiring stories of young people who work in different industries and the development of the nation in the next decade.

The program's driving and spaceflight-themed unit features China's youngest female driver of a larger diameter shield machine, Yang Shui, and Deng Manqi, daughter of astronaut Deng Qingming who's also an assistant engineer at the Beijing Aerospace Control Center.

The thematic unit "Our Choice" presents the work achievement of Dou Xiaoxuan, an actress from the Beijing Opera House's Mei Lanfang Theater; Wang Xiuzhen, who has built the country's largest passion fruit sorting and sales center; and the Sekhangba forest rangers who have turned a wasteland into a thick forest.

The show will officially go online on May 4, which is celebrated as the Youth Day in China.
