As tens of thousands of people flooded to Chinatown in Budapest on Jan 28 to visit a temple fair celebrating the Chinese New Year, the Chinese culture served them right.
On the streets, people enjoyed festive vibes by watching lion and dragon dances, trying on traditional Chinese hanfu, and sampling Chinese delicacies like dumplings and spring rolls.
A medley of cultural activities were also held indoors, attracting locals to experience Chinese calligraphy and painting, paint Peking Opera masks, make New Year wishes, and buy cultural and creative products.
