A city of innovation and vitality, Changsha in Hunan province has become a highland for technological innovation with core competitiveness and high-end enterprises, industrial clusters and a talented workforce.

Hunan Qitai Sensing Technology-a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and development, production and sales of micro-electro mechanical systems pressure-sensitive chips and related pressure sensors, announced its successful R&D of air-conditioning sensors to be installed on electric cars.

For more than 10 years, the company has been insisting on the R&D of sensors and built the first standardized, metal-based and pressure-sensitive chip production line in the country, solving the problem of the domestic replacement of hydraulic sensors in the construction machinery industry.

Changsha is home to lots of renowned and high-end enterprises including Chinese machinery giant Sany Group, machinery manufacturer Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science& Technology, and China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corp.

The city is the third-largest construction machinery industry cluster in the world after Illinois in the United States and Tokyo in Japan.

The scale of the cluster industry has ranked first in the country for many years and its products are exported to 180 countries and regions around the globe.

The rapid rise of the construction machinery industry is the epitome of Changsha's empowerment of industrial development through technological innovation.
