Young craftsman spreads filigree inlay art

Gu believes that as the generation born after 1990 like him, which grew up in a burgeoning society, their open minds welcome different cultures.

Currently, the emergence of new media contributes a lot to carry forward this traditional technique. The short videos created and posted by Gu draw many viewers.

"Some people want to buy the products, and some want to learn filigree inlay art from me," said Gu, whose workshop has more than 20 members now, and most of them are local young people who were born after 1990. "One person's power is limited, so I hope more young people can join us," said Gu.
