The runway during the 2022 Spring/Summer China Fashion Week saw a show dedicated to medical workers on Sept 11.
Models walked the catwalk in specially designed medical uniforms made from textures that contain conductive wire and graphene fiber.
Designed by Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and Dishang Group, an enterprise based in East China’s Shandong province, the uniforms are said to be anti-static and antibacterial with a good quality of moisture absorption and quick drying.
Liu Wei, a designer, added Chinese elements into the formal uniform series, such as yun jian, a shawl in traditional Chinese style, was used in the new designs as a cloak that can be taken off quickly.
