"When will the full moon appear? Wine cup in hand, I ask the sky…"
The Song Dynasty (960-1279) poet Su Shi probably would not have believed his masterpiece, When Will the Full Moon Appear?, was sung in Chinese by three Mongolian students on Sept 8 at the China Cultural Center in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
They were coached by center director Chen Shuang and their performance was then recorded as part of Mid-Autumn Festival: A Moon Moment to Remember. It's an online celebration for the traditional Chinese festival, which falls on Thursday this year, the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.
