The sixth China Children's Theatre Festival is underway in Beijing, kicked off with the July 8 performance of a play based on the Chinese fairy tale, Malan Flower.
The Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe rehearsed a brand new Yue opera production Coriolanus & Du Liniang to mark the 400th anniversary of the deaths of William Shakespeare and Tang Xianzu. The troupe will start a four-country tour on July 19, visiting Britain, France, Italy and Austria.
