The China Cultural Center in the German capital of Berlin has hosted a series of activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of ties between China and Germany.
Monks from Central China's Henan province have staged a special performance of Chinese martial arts to conclude Chinese New Year celebrations in Bangkok.
The opening ceremony for the 2017 Culture City of East Asia cultural exchange activities was held in Kyoto, Japan, on Feb 18. Officials and representatives from China, Japan and Korea along with about 1,000 audience members attended the event.

Chinese nianhua, or lunar New Year paintings, are often used as decorations during the Spring Festival. They are placed on doors or walls to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck to families in the new year.
