Fire Dragon Dance brings fiery night spectacle to Datong, Shanxi

Since the start of the summer vacation, new forms of night-time consumption have emerged across the country. Recently, the national-level intangible cultural heritage Fire Dragon Dance made its debut at the Daifu Prince Mansion scenic area within the ancient city of Datong, Shanxi province. Dozens of meters of fiery dragons spiraled and leaped through the night sky, with sparks cascading and brilliant lights gleaming, complementing the upturned eaves of the ancient architecture. This brought an immersive folk cultural feast to visitors from all over the country.
