From July 21 to 22, a series of cultural and tourism exchange activities were held in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, including the China (Hubei)-Russia cultural and tourism promotion event and the China (Hubei)-Russia Tea Road cultural exchange event.
Guests from political, diplomatic, cultural, and tourism circles of China and Russia attended the events.
Nearly 100 representatives from key cultural and tourism enterprises in Hubei province of China and Russia participated in the promotion event. A promotional film on Hubei's culture and tourism and a presentation titled "Hubei in My Eyes" by renowned Russian Sinologist Olga Migunova vividly highlighted the scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage of Hubei. The event featured a China-Russia B2B zone for tourism operators, along with the official presentation of the "Zhiyin Hubei · Global Partner" plaque and the corporate signing ceremony. Additionally, joint performances by Chinese and Russian artists received high praise from attendees, with a collaborative chorus of "Moscow Nights" bringing the event to a climax.
The cultural exchange event featuring China (Hubei)-Russia Tea Road focused on the integration of tea, culture, and tourism. Twelve enterprises, including Hubei Tea Group, reached multiple practical cooperation intentions with Russian partners. Demonstrations of the craftsmanship behind Enshi Yulu green tea and Changshengchuan black brick tea, along with live exhibitions of Wuhan dough figurine sculpting and paper-cutting, allowed guests to immersively experience the charm of Hubei's intangible cultural heritage.
During the visit to Russia, the delegation also attended various exchange activities, including a youth art exhibition, the unveiling of the "Hubei Bookshelf", and the launch ceremony of the 2nd International Youth Yangtze River Tour.
