Art fair to return to Baotou

An upgraded visitor experience powered by cutting-edge technologies will be offered at the upcoming Third Baotou Art Expo, which will be held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from July 30 to Aug 3.

More than 5,000 artworks by artists and cultural institutions from across the country will be showcased at the expo in Baotou, a city traditionally known for its iron and steel industry on the edge of the vast grasslands of northern China.

The expo will feature two sections this year. The contemporary art area, themed "Empowered by Technology," will offer immersive and interactive experiences, featuring AIGC (artificial intelligence-generated content) works from home and abroad, as well as cultural products that demonstrate how technologies are transforming the way people experience art and culture.
