Beijing sci-art exhibition bridges science and humanity

The "212 Movement" art exhibit welcomed its second group of influencers at the Art Bridge Gallery in Beijing's 798 Art Zone on Monday. Over 10 bloggers across various fields, including science and technology, law, film, photography, history, and beauty, gathered in the exhibition hall to engage in an in-depth dialogue on science, art, and human civilization.

The 212 Movement: A Scientific Art Exhibition by Zhao Chuang & Yang Yang is a joint presentation by 212 Off-Road and PNSO, a Beijing-based organization that produces science-based artwork. Highlighting 16 years of sci-art creation by PNSO, the exhibition unveils three distinct sections: Life, Universe, and Humanity.

Among them, the Universe section corresponds to PNSO's "Galileo: An Art Project of Constellations", presenting a grand narrative of human cosmic exploration from a science-art perspective and continuously expanding the boundaries of human space imagination.

Stepping into the Universe section, visitors are immediately awed by the Solar System Wonders series. The sci-art painting Valles Marineris showcases the longest known canyon system in the Solar System on the surface of Mars; Ice Volcanoes of Europa depicts the global liquid ocean and intense geological activity hidden beneath the surface of an ice-covered world; and Methane Lake on Titan turns its focus to the liquid methane and ethane flowing on Saturn's largest moon. Through the brushstrokes of science art, these wonders of distant celestial bodies become tangible.
