Bvlgari Hotel Beijing has launched a new restaurant, Pizza Bar, featuring recipes developed by Italian pizza chef Pier Daniele Seu, bringing contemporary Roman-style pizza to diners in the Chinese capital.
The opening introduces a dedicated pizza concept centered on traditional techniques and Italian ingredients, while also reflecting growing interest among Chinese consumers for authentic international cuisines and chef-led dining experiences.
Seu, a Rome-based pizzaiolo whose restaurant Seu Pizza Illuminati has received international recognition, recently visited Beijing to present eight signature pizzas. He was named Pizza Chef of the Year by 50 Top Pizza in 2019, and his restaurant currently ranks among Italy's leading pizzerias.
The Pizza Bar menu includes classic varieties such as Margherita DOP, Super Capricciosa and Indiavolata, alongside newer creations such as Cocktail di Gamberi and Fior in Fragola. The dough undergoes a 30-hour fermentation process designed to produce a light texture and balanced flavor.
