The exhibition also features scientifically reconstructed models depicting the appearance and ecological strategies of key species.

Wang Baopeng, deputy director of the Earth Sciences Department at the museum, said the exhibition goes beyond specimen displays to emphasize science communication and the transformation of research achievements for the public.

A dedicated section also traces more than a century of T. rex research and its evolution in popular culture, aiming to clarify common misconceptions and provide a more accurate scientific understanding of the species.

The exhibition also reflects growing international cooperation in China's natural history museum sector. The inclusion of specimens from the Dinosaurier Museum Altmuhltal, a major European paleontological institution, marks a step forward in the internationalization of China's natural science exhibitions and the development of high-quality public science programming.

During the exhibition period, organizers will also host a series of educational activities designed to further promote public engagement with paleontology and science learning.
