New cultural space celebrates tradition, adds festive vibe

Rong Bao Zhai, the time-honored cultural brand on Beijing's Liulichang street, has unveiled a dynamic new cultural space featuring a reading room, a showcase of creative products and a center for public activities.

The opening was also celebrated with an exhibition of calligraphic works by Wang Zhi, a former television anchor. His pieces convey heartfelt blessings, hopeful visions and philosophical reflections, revealing an immersion in the study of diverse scripts — regular, running and cursive — demanding precision and patience.
