With culture serving as a bridge and dialogue as a shared language, an international exchange gathering themed "Chaoyang and the World, Embracing the Future" was held on Saturday, bringing together representatives from international organizations and multinational companies to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation.
Tang Wenhong, vice-mayor of Beijing, said the city will continue to advance high-standard opening-up, improve the business environment aligned with international rules, and expand cooperation in technological innovation, green finance, the digital economy and cultural and creative industries. He highlighted joint efforts in institutional opening-up and Beijing's contribution to global governance.
Wu Xiaojie, Party secretary of Chaoyang district, said openness and internationalization remain central to the district's development. He added that the district will further enhance its capacity for international exchanges and global resource allocation.
International guests praised Chaoyang's open and pragmatic approach and expressed willingness to pursue long-term cooperation.
