2025 International Model United Nations Conference kicks off in Jiangxi

From Dec 12 to 14, the "Tengwang Pavilion Cup" 2025 International Model United Nations Conference was hosted at the Affiliated High School of Jiangxi Normal University.

This year’s conference attracted nearly 700 students and teachers from more than 40 schools worldwide, providing a platform for global youth dialogue and cultural exchange.

Guests from China and the United States delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Speakers included Zhang Jianguo, secretary-general of the Charhar Institute; Zhu Xiaoyan, vice president of the Western Returned Scholars Association Spain–Portugal Chapter and Chen Xiaotong, deputy director-general of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education. U.S. representatives such as John Sygielski, president of the Central Pennsylvania Community College Alliance, and Cole Goodman, outreach officer of the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg, emphasized the importance of international youth exchanges.

Guided by the Organizing Committee of the Canal Cities Model United Nations Conference, the event was co-organized by the UN SDG Quality Education Executive Committee, Jiangxi Normal University, and Window of Philadelphia, and jointly hosted by the Affiliated High School of Jiangxi Normal University and DENO International Education Consultant.
