New drama displays romantic charm of Macao

To mark the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, the new drama series Begin Again premiered on Mango TV on Wednesday.

This urban drama unfolds three romantic encounters in Macao, highlighting the meeting between art curator Chen Jiahui and car racer Han Junhao and the love story between the son of a local restaurant owner Xu Junle and Ma Youge, a business visitor to Macao. Love quietly blossoms as they traverse the city's streets, immersed in its charm and culture. Through the characters' perspectives, the drama showcases the allure of Macao, a romantic city of diverse cultures.

The cast includes actresses Zhong Chuxi, Chen Haoyu and Carman Lee, and actors Han Dongjun, Sun Yang and Alex Fong Chung Sun. Li Mo, the director, is skilled at insightfully portraying contemporary urban youth lifestyles.

By narrating these love stories, Begin Again also intricately captures Macao's history, cuisine and natural landscapes aiming to promote tourism.
