The three-day symposium, saw more than 70 representatives from nearly ten countries including China, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Germany in attendance. More than 30 speakers from home and abroad gave speeches and attended roundtable discussions on the synergistic development of museums and cities, as well as the sustainable development of university museums.
In addition to enabling Chinese experts and scholars in the field of museums to actively participate in the international governance of museums, the symposium also aimed to contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to positively impact the development of museums worldwide by promoting exchanges and mutual learning among museums in the Asia-Pacific region.
