Mentougou puts tourism on the agenda

Some 70 representatives from major cultural and tourism enterprises, investors, industrial associations and financial institutes took part, and agreed to cooperate on tourism development in the district.

Cooperative projects agreed cover rural tourism, mountain sports and boutique homestays.

Local authorities said that Mentougou will offer premium services to investors and inject new momentum into its cultural and tourism development.

The district will development up to five model tourism villages and support art performances, the night economy, and digital culture and tourism experiences in the future, according to authorities.
