China and Nigeria enhance bilateral ties through mutual learning

The Cultural Counselor, Mr Li Xuda introduced the "Sharing Chinese Harmony & Performing Nigeria-China Symphony" initiative. He explained that this initiative aims to foster cooperation and harmony between Nigeria and China, drawing on harmony as a traditional value. His speech highlighted the importance of harmony at various levels. He emphasized the need to encourage kindness and respect for nature, promote happiness and social stability, foster unity and cultural diversity, and advance peace and development. Mr. Li concluded by stating, "The ultimate goal is to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation for the benefit of both nations." He also cited various essays and poems from participants in the Essay Competition hosted by the Chinese Embassy two years ago.

Other speakers at the event emphasized the importance of deepening mutual understanding and learning to benefit both nations and their people.
