Spring Festival TV gala holds third rehearsal

The third rehearsal of CCTV Spring Festival gala was held on Jan 28.

Showcasing creativity and inspired by traditional Chinese culture, the annual gala will offer more stories about Chinese people, both from home and overseas.

During the latest rehearsal, people from all walks of life were sitting among the audiences.

A warm-up program, which has people from different parts of the world enjoy the annual gala, has been launched on Jan 26 in New York, allowing overseas Chinese and audiences of foreign countries to get a glimpse of Chinese culture through the gala.

The annual gala, first launched in 1983, is one of the most-watched TV shows in the country, delivering joy and festive atmosphere with a diversity of shows, such as singing, dancing and comedy.
