Walking into a world of modern artists

From Cubism pioneer Pablo Picasso, Fauvism founder Henri Matisse, to father of Modernism Paul Cezanne, and to Surrealist sculptor Alberto Giacometti, works by these big names in the art world of the 20th century in Europe can be appreciated in just one show.

The show Modern Time: Masterpieces from the Collection of Museum Berggruen at Beijing's UCCA displays about 100 pieces by six modern masters of the 20th century. There are altogether 40 pieces of Pablo Picasso's Cubism style paintings, 20 works by German expressionist Paul Klee as well as artwork by other master artists of Picasso's era.

The show will run through to Feb 25.
