Supported by the Beijing Olympic City Development Promotion Association, a touring exhibition highlighting the spirit of the Beijing Winter Olympics arrived in Lhasa, Tibet autonomous region, on Wednesday.
Featuring some 300 images and 400 objects from the 2022 Winter Olympics, the exhibition offers visitors a varied interactive experience.
Fu Xiaohui, director of the Beijing Olympic City Development Promotion Center, which is among the organizers of the exhibition, said that the center has been committed to the preservation of Olympic heritage and to the promotion of Olympic culture over the years.
He said that it is using this exhibition as an opportunity to deepen cooperation with Lhasa and promote the sustainable development of the Olympic movement in China. Following the opening of the touring exhibition in Lhasa, organizers will also visit schools to spread the Beijing Winter Olympics spirit among the youth.
Since the exhibition was launched in April, it has been held in a number of locations, including Hotan prefecture in Xinjiang, Yushu in Qinghai province and Zhangjiakou in Hebei province, attracting around 1 million visitors.
