Forum promoting online international communication to open in Nanjing

A forum promoting online international communication will be held in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province, on Friday.

Directed by the Bureau of Cyber Communications of Cyberspace Administration of China and organized by China Daily Website, the forum will gather communication studies experts, influential content creators from both home and abroad, and leaders from government bodies, mainstream media outlets, business websites, and major social platforms.

Centering on the theme China Story and New Paradigm for International Communication, the event aims to make China an active part in shaping the international public opinion.

Forum participants will be invited to deliver keynote speeches on three topics – focusing on diversity and creating new force of international communication, exchanging civilization and innovating a new narrative of international communication, and leading change and building a new pattern of international communication.

The forum will also launch the "China Storyteller Partnership", publish "Good Stories of China" Network International Communication Boutique Cases, and award the creators.

The forum is a part of the China Internet Media Forum, an annual event in China's internet media industry. It is known as an important window into the development trend of China's online media.
