2022 'Focus On Zhejiang' event concludes

The 2022 "Focus On Zhejiang" international cultural exchange activity concluded on Wednesday at the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City in Hangzhou.

A total of 23 new envoys were added to the 2022 "Picturesque and Dynamic Zhejiang" envoy list. Besides, 12 institutions including Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, Zhejiang International Studies University, Zhejiang Art Museum and Zhejiang Provincial Museum were awarded the international cultural exchange bases of Zhejiang at the closing ceremony.

This year, ten foreigners living in Zhejiang have been collaborating with experts and celebrities to promote the culture and tourism resources of Zhejiang through livestreams.

This year's event has also specially set up the "Asian Games International Class", which invited Olympic gymnastics champion Jiang Yuyuan, rowing world champion Yan Shimin, Incheon Asian Games taekwondo men's 87kg runner-up Chen Linglong and other sports stars to lead foreigners to take a tour of the intangible cultural heritage items, ancient towns and food related to Asian Games.

The event was hosted by the Information Office of Zhejiang Provincial Government and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

During the entire year, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism hosted a series of activities abroad under the brand of "Picturesque Zhejiang", which has improved brand awareness.
