A concert titled "A Moonmoment to Remember" was launched at the China Cultural Center in Singapore on Sept 17.
Hosted by the China Cultural Center in Singapore and organized by the Ceiba Culture and Media Pte Ltd in Singapore, the event was held to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, an important traditional festival in China.
Sun Haiyan, China’s ambassador to Singapore, Terence Ho, former nominated member of Parliament, and more than 200 people from the political, commercial, cultural and educational sectors attended the event.
The program is the first Mid-Autumn Festival concert held offline since the beginning of the pandemic two years ago.
At the concert, world-renowned violinist Qian Zhou and cellist Li-Wei Qin, and other young artists played famous Chinese and foreign pieces for the audience.
The artists expressed their best wishes to the people of both China and Singapore and hoped everyone could feel the warmth of the festival.
