The 13th China Art Festival closed on Sept 15 in Xiong'an New Area in Hebei province.
The closing ceremony announced the winners for the 17th Wenhua Award, a top national accolade for professional stage productions, and the 19th Qunxing Award, for amateur artistic works.
Fifteen stage productions, including dance dramas, plays, traditional Chinese operas and musicals, were granted the Wenhua Grand Prize. Three scriptwriters, three directors, and nine performers were also awarded.
The Qunxing Award was given to 30 works of music, dances, plays, traditional Chinese operas, choir singing and public-square dancing.
This year's festival was co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Beijing municipal government, the Tianjin municipal government and the Hebei provincial government.
One Wenhua Grand Prize and Three Qunxing Awards were given to works from Beijing. Tianjin and Hebei province both won one Wenhua Grand Prize and one Qunxing Award.
The 14th edition of the festival is due to be held in 2025, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Sichuan provincial government and the Chongqing municipal government.
