The China Tourism Office in Sydney launched a virtual exhibition titled “A Bite of China-More Than Dumplings” to introduce Chinese delicacies and their related tourist destinations to local people on April 29.
Universally acknowledged for its various tastes and categories, Chinese cuisine has been evolving with the nation’s development over the past thousands of years. It is not only about food and eating habits, but also Chinese wisdom and philosophy passed down generation to generation.
The show introduced the history and background stories of six representative dishes, including Lanzhou Ramen and Braised Carb.
